What is a Biaxial Stretch Plastic Geogrid

Biaxial geogrid are biaxially stretched, reticulated, square mesh geogrid. Commonly used as reinforcement of reinforced soil structure or reinforcement of composite materials.

Biaxis geogrid performance: uniform structure, small creepage, high strength, good flexibility, anti-aging, acid and alkali resistance.

All kinds of soft soil foundation are strengthened to make the load stress evenly distributed and reduce the uneven settlement.

Suitable for road, railway, port, airport, municipal and coal mining face, roadway and other support engineering.

Biaxis geogrid function:


Increase the bearing capacity of the road (ground) foundation: Through the addition of enhanced materials, improve the bearing capacity of the roadbed and extend the service life.

Requirements for the laying of biaxis geogrid:

1.  The laying surface of the geogrid should be relatively flat, and after the laying layer is qualified, in order to prevent longitudinal skew, first draw white lines or hanging lines in 

the laying layer according to the width, and then start laying, and then fix the end of the grille with U-shaped nails (4 nails per meter wide, fixed at an even distance).


2. After fixing the end of the geogrid, use the laying machine or manual method to slowly pull the grid forward, each 10 meters long manual investigation, until a roll of the grid is 

completed, and then lay the next roll, the operation is the same as before.


3. Shop: volume length as a unit

As the length of the laid section, the length of the geogrid should be covered, and then the overall inspection of the laying quality, and then lay the next section, when the next 

section is laid, the grille and the grille overlap a grid net distance as the lap length, and continue to lay two sections in the direction of the forward direction after fixing.  By analogy, 

the operation requirements are the same as before.
