Precautions for Geomembrane Construction
Geomembrane construction is generally divided into two methods: Geomembrane welding and KS geomembrane special adhesive construction.
The joint treatment of welded geomembrane is the key procedure of construction, which directly affects the operation life of the project.
According to the quality inspection, the method of hot welding is more ideal. (can also be used for special adhesive bonding)
(1)The thermal welding method is to heat the surface of the PE geomembrane to melt the surface, and then fuse it into one through pressure.
(2)Geomembrane is best laid in a certain direction, both sides of the geomembrane reserve a certain PE film and PET non-bonding layer, laying to adjust the direction of each unit geomembrane, in order to facilitate the welding of two units of geomembrane.
(3)After the geomembrane is laid, it is necessary to press it with sand bags to prevent wind movement, and impurities such as dirt, water, and dust are not required at the edge joints.
(4)Before welding, it is necessary to adjust the two edges of the joint PE single film, so that it is bonded to a certain broadband, and it is smooth and without wrinkles.
(5)When welding, it is best to have a certain experience of technical personnel welding, welding using a special welding machine for welding. To adjust the temperature and speed.
Note:
(1)The thickness of the geomembrane is not less than 0.3mm, too thin may produce pores, and easy to be damaged in construction and reduce the anti-seepage effect.
(2)In the construction of geomembrane, special attention should be paid to the laying should not be too tight, should not be wrinkled, and the splicing should be firm.
(3)Construction should be strictly in accordance with technical specifications, and five quality passes such as preparation, laying, splicing, inspection and backfilling should be prepared.
(4)Should be extended from the bottom to the high, do not pull too tight, should leave a 1.50% margin, in order to prepare the sinking and stretching of the office. Considering the actual situation of the project, the slope is laid from top to bottom.
(5)The longitudinal joints of the two adjacent panels should not be on a horizontal line and should be staggered more than 1m from each other.
(6)The longitudinal joint should be more than 1.50m away from the dam foot and the bend foot, and should be located on the plane.
(7)First slope back bottom.
(8)When the slope is laid, the film spreading direction should be basically parallel to the maximum slope.
