How to Install The Grass Paver

Grass paver performance and characteristics:

 to the uneven settlement of the foundation is strong. grass paver has strong resistance to high temperature and 

freeze-thaw cycle. The grass-planting brick adopts six-sided high-frequency vibration, the aggregate distribution 

is uniform, the appearance is rough, so the surface is not easy to wear, wear resistance and impact resistance are 

better.

How to install the grass paver：

1. Original soil compaction: This is the first step in the installation of grass paver, and it is necessary to ensure that the foundation soil is layered and compacted, and the density reaches more than 85%. If the foundation soil is a soft-plastic to fluid-plastic silt layer, it is recommended to throw the block and roll it until it is dense.

2. Lay a support layer: On the tamped original soil, use gravel to make a support layer of 20cm~30cm on the original soil surface according to the load of the parking. The pressure and thickness of the support layer is determined by the assumed pressure, such as 30 cm thickness for carrying a car. Before laying the lawn, a layer of sand/sand mixture 2-3 cm thick must be laid on the supporting layer.

3. Laying grass paver: the shape size of grass paver is designed according to the size modulus of the parking space, and it is generally not required to cut when paving. When the parking space has special shape requirements or there is a sewage manhole cover on the parking space, the grass paver can be cut to suit the requirements of different shapes of the parking space. When paving, attention should be paid to the staggered arrangement of the bottom of the grass paver so that it is installed on the basis. Depending on the need, the entire area may need to be framed or secured with fixed nails. In order to avoid possible thermal expansion of the lawn, a gap of 1-1.5 cm must be preserved between each lawn grid.

4. Fill planting soil: Sprinkle planting soil in the concave planting groove of the planting grid and evenly sweep it into the planting grid hole with a broom. The height of the soil layer should be 5-10mm lower than the planting grid plane.

5. Lay sod or seed: Lay sod or seed on the grass paver planting soil layer. When laying sod, the sod should be compacted onto the planting soil. Water maintenance can be stopped after the grass is alive.
