The role of bidirectional stretch plastic geogrid:
(1) The mesh of the bidirectional grid has a limiting effect, and the soil particles are squeezed in the grid to form mechanical occlusion, so as to produce effective stress transfer between the soil and the grid, reducing the uneven settlement.
(2) The land contains more or less water, and the grid of the grid can contain water, and it can also separate different materials from each other to ensure the overall stability of the structure. With high tensile strength and tensile modulus, the bidirectional geoglage can spread the load or stress evenly over a large area, thereby reducing the load compressive stress acting on the soft foundation.

Construction precautions:
Preparation for construction:
The construction site should be compacted and flat to ensure that the grid can be tightly fitted to the ground after laying.
Laying direction:
The longitudinal direction of the grille should be laid perpendicular to the axis of the embankment, so that the tensile strength of the grille can be fully utilized. During the laying
process, the grille should be tensioned and fixed as far as possible to avoid folding or relaxation.
Connection mode:
The connection between the grid width and the width should be lapped, and the width of the lapping should not be less than 10cm.
The joints should be firm and reliable to ensure the stability of the entire system.
Filling and compaction:
After the grid is laid and positioned, it should be filled and covered in time, and the exposed time should not exceed 48 hours. Gravel soil and sand soil should be preferred as fillers.
The mechanical properties of these materials are stable and less affected by water content.The particle size of the packing should not be greater than 15cm to avoid damage to the grille. The compaction of the fill should be carried out in layers, and the thickness of each
layer is 20-30cm. During the compaction process, it should be pushed from both sides to the middle to ensure even compaction.
Construction precautions:
During the construction process, the construction vehicle should avoid making sharp turns or braking on the grille surface, so as not to cause damage to the grille. Construction
personnel should wear appropriate protective equipment to ensure construction safety.
Quality inspection:
After the construction is completed, the laying of the grille should be checked to ensure that it is laid smoothly and connected firmly.
The compactness of the fill should also be tested to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
